Creole Veggie Shepherd’s Pie

- 1 can Trappey’s Creole Okra Gumbo (15 oz)
- 1 can Trappey’s Seasoned Black Beans, drained and rinsed (15.5 oz)
- 4 cups mashed potatoes (homemade or prepared)
- 1 tbsp butter
- salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a greased 2-quart baking dish, layer Trappey’s Seasoned Black Beans on the bottom.
Spoon the Trappey’s Creole Okra Gumbo evenly over the beans.
Spread mashed potatoes smoothly over the top layer.
Dot the surface with butter and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until the potatoes are lightly golden and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
